Overview
Clean in place replaces manual cleaning with a controlled sequence of rinse, caustic, acid and sanitiser cycles circulated through the process equipment. Vixtec CIP systems are built around stainless steel solution tanks in SS304 or SS316L, hygienic tri clamp piping and instrumentation ports for temperature, conductivity and level, so each cycle can be verified and recorded.
Systems are configured to your line: single or multi tank, with or without solution recovery, heated by steam or electric, and sized for the vessels and pipe runs they will clean. The result is repeatable hygiene with less water, chemical and downtime than manual methods.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a CIP system consist of?
A typical system includes one or more stainless steel solution tanks for water, caustic and acid, a heating arrangement, circulation pumps, hygienic piping and instrumentation to monitor temperature, conductivity and flow. Vixtec supplies the tanks, piping and instrumentation ready design and integrates it with your process equipment.
Which industries use CIP systems?
Dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biopharma and personal care plants use CIP wherever product contact equipment must be cleaned frequently to a verified hygiene standard.
Can Vixtec supply CIP for vessels it did not manufacture?
Yes. CIP systems are sized to the vessels and pipework they will clean, regardless of who built the original equipment.
Which standards do Vixtec vessels comply with?
Vessels are designed and fabricated to ASME standards and other globally recognised codes. Material lab testing is carried out in NABL approved labs, and every order ships with audit ready documentation for regulated industries.
