Overview
Getting a mix right depends on the pairing of vessel geometry, agitator type and speed, baffles and temperature. Vixtec engineers each mixing vessel around the product being handled: low viscosity liquids, slurries, creams, pastes or shear sensitive formulations. Impeller, turbine and paddle agitators are available, with top or bottom entry drives and sealing appropriate to the duty.
Tanks can be supplied open top, closed with manway, jacketed for heating or cooling, insulated and clad, and fitted with load cells, level and temperature instrumentation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which agitator type should I choose for my mixing tank?
Impellers suit low viscosity liquids that need bulk circulation, turbines provide higher shear for dispersing and dissolving, and paddles work well for viscous products and gentle blending. Vixtec selects the agitator with you based on the product, batch size and process time.
Can a mixing tank be heated or cooled?
Yes. Mixing vessels can be fitted with dimple jackets, half pipe coils or connections to an external heat exchanger, along with insulation and cladding for temperature holding.
What sizes of mixing tank does Vixtec manufacture?
Mixing tanks are built from 50 litres for pilot and lab scale work up to 100,000 litres and beyond for production, each sized to the batch and footprint you specify.
Which standards do Vixtec vessels comply with?
Vessels are designed and fabricated to ASME standards and other globally recognised codes. Material lab testing is carried out in NABL approved labs, and every order ships with audit ready documentation for regulated industries.
Where is Vixtec Industries located and which regions do you serve?
Our factory is at 577/2, Bavla Dholka Road, Bavla, Dist. Ahmedabad 382220, Gujarat, India. We supply customers across India and can ship internationally on request.
