Overview
Many plants need to move intermediate product between rooms, hold a batch for the next shift or dispense from a single vessel at several points. Portable vessels give that flexibility without hoses and pumps. Vixtec builds them in SS304 or SS316L with lockable caster wheels, ergonomic handles and stable frames, and finishes them to the same hygienic standards as fixed vessels.
Options include jacketing for temperature holding, agitation, lids with manway or tri clamp ports, bottom outlet valves, load cells and sight glasses.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes are portable vessels available in?
Portable vessels start from around 50 litres and go up to sizes that can still be moved safely by hand through your doorways and corridors. Vixtec sizes each unit to your batch and layout.
Can a portable vessel be jacketed or agitated?
Yes. Portable vessels can be supplied with a jacket for temperature holding and with an agitator where the product needs to stay mixed during transfer or storage.
Are portable vessels hygienic enough for pharmaceutical use?
Yes. They are built in SS316L with the same internal finish options, crevice free welds and documentation as our fixed pharmaceutical vessels.
Which standards do Vixtec vessels comply with?
Vessels are designed and fabricated to ASME standards and other globally recognised codes. Material lab testing is carried out in NABL approved labs, and every order ships with audit ready documentation for regulated industries.
