Overview
A reactor combines everything that makes a vessel demanding: pressure, temperature, corrosion, mixing and control. Vixtec reactors are engineered from your reaction data, with jacket or coil heat transfer sized for the exotherm or heat input, agitators selected for the mixing regime, and sealing chosen for the pressure and chemistry involved. Materials are selected for corrosion resistance, from SS316L to custom alloys.
Reactors are supplied with nozzles for feed, sampling, venting, pressure relief and instrumentation, and with the documentation regulated industries need, including material traceability, weld reports and FAT protocol.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a reactor and a mixing tank?
A mixing tank blends or holds product at or near atmospheric pressure. A reactor is designed for a chemical reaction to take place inside it, so it is built for the pressure, temperature and heat load of that reaction, with heat transfer, agitation and relief designed accordingly.
How is reactor temperature controlled?
Through a dimple jacket, half pipe coil or external heat exchanger loop circulating steam, hot water, chilled water or glycol, with agitation ensuring the temperature is uniform through the batch.
Can Vixtec build reactors in alloys other than stainless steel?
Yes. Alongside SS304, SS316 and SS316L, reactors can be built in carbon steel or custom alloys selected for the corrosion and temperature conditions of your process.
Which standards do Vixtec vessels comply with?
Vessels are designed and fabricated to ASME standards and other globally recognised codes. Material lab testing is carried out in NABL approved labs, and every order ships with audit ready documentation for regulated industries.
Where is Vixtec Industries located and which regions do you serve?
Our factory is at 577/2, Bavla Dholka Road, Bavla, Dist. Ahmedabad 382220, Gujarat, India. We supply customers across India and can ship internationally on request.
